Not ovulating: Sometimes we just doi not make good eggs. If more than 3 months, call your doctor to get Progesterone to shed extra lining. In meantime, think what has changed? Your weight up or down? Lots of stress? Check thyroid, prolactin, tests for early diabetes...The periods is a sign we are healthy, irregular periods can be a gift to tell us to get it together!

Hormonal imbalance: Menstrual irregularities are not uncommon and anovulatory cycle is a common cause. If you miss more than two periods it would be time to see your doctor. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time. You may consider implanted contraceptive or an IUD.
