Can i breastfeed and bottle feed at the same time?

Yes: You can do both, although it is generally recommended not to introduce a bottle in the first few weeks, until your milk supply is well established. However, if you are exhausted and just need a break, an occasional bottle should not interfere with succesful breastfeeding.

Yes: You may breast feed with supplemental bottles of pumped breast milk or formula. It is advisable to breast feed solely for the first two weeks as to establish your milk flow and avoid nipple confusion. Babies suck differently from the breast and the bottle.
