Belly Piercing Scar: The scar from a belly piercing or piercing in any area of the body is permanent. It will not disappear. These scars can be improved by scar revision but you will still have some type of scar. The goal is to make the revised scar look better than the scar from the piercing.

Give it time: With time the scar will get flatter lighter and softer. If it does not you can have it injected with steroid. You am also use silicone sheeting to help improve the appearance. It can take more than a year to improve.

Unfortunately: Unfortunately scars are permanent in the skin. With time and treatment they may get flatter and less discolored, but that is all. Good luck.
