How long do i need to wait after getting a belly button piercing to swim in the ocean? i want to get it done on my 18th birthday this weekend and it's mid summer. i live in a beach town, so i wouldn't be going in a lot of pools or jacuzzis.

Ask the 1 piercing u: Be sure to go to a licensed and highly qualified expert on piercing, and ask them how long to wait before swimming in the ocean. Everyone heals differently, so they may provide you a range. Better to wait until fall or miss a dip in the ocean rather than suffering with an infection.
