Hard to say: A shoulder dislocation is not a subtle thing. It usually causes horrific pain and the only treatment is to reduce the dislocation. More common causes of shoulder pain such as arthritis or rotator cuff disease can be often treated with antiinflaamatories, moist heat, and gentle stretching exercises. Thank you for your question.

Probably not: Dislocated. Some people have instability of the shoulder. This can be related to laxity. I usually suggest rotator cuff strengthening and peri scapular strengthening.
