Effective Treatment: Ms, may cause dysphasia, resulting in problems with movement of food from esophagus to stomach, resulting in digestion problems. Diarrhea can also effect the nutritional status, with loss of nutrients, electrolytes and fluid. Depression and unstable mood can cause sleep problems. Effective treatment is very important. For depression, antidepressants, cbt and hypnotics. Consult your neurologist.Thx.

Sleep disorder: Multiple sleep problems are associated with multiple sclerosis, including restless leg syndrome, and sleep apnea. You would do well to have an overnight sleep study. Your digestive issues may well be associated with your current meds, so spend some time with your neurologist to analyze adverse effects. Some ms pts do well on a low fat diet. If your vitamin d level is low, correct it asap.
