Need more info: It sounds like you have chronic respiratory symptoms & your failure to gain weight might be linked to the underlying cause of your symptoms. If you have not had a detailed evaluation including chest xray, work up for tb, cystic fibrosis etc. Then you should see a lung specialist for more detailed evaluation.
