Biopsy: It's hard to say without a picture or a history, but if you have had wounds for that long, and there is nothing in your history or activity that wound elegantly explain why they are there, i would suggest a biopsy of the wounds. That's a long time for wounds to be present, make sure you are seeing the appropriate specialist who can ascertain the diagnosis and formulate treatment.
