1: Once a day is enough cereal for a 1 year old. The cereal provides iron for the baby. Cereal can be prepared with water or formula. A baby drinking formula gets iron from the formula. If the baby changes to cow milk, then he can eat more cereal to get his iron, because cow milk does not have adequate iron.
