Varicocele.: I assume your varicocele is one the left side. Unfortunately due to the lack of valves in your veins you have this varicocele. With long standing and excercise it will get symptomatic. It will affect fertility if you are trying to conceive. Operation is realy the only choice unl;ess you can live with it. Sounds lke your pain is guiding you to some sort of definitive treatment.
