OCPs: Assuming you are not pregnant, start taking birth control pills as a way to control irregular periods. It's possible that you could be stressed mentally or physically, and that could be causing this abnormal flow. Oral contraceptive pills could be a way to decrease period amount and duration, and cause them to be more predictable.
