It is useful for pregnancy when it has been produced by in vitro fertilization or if you have a history of repeated miscarriages (unlikely at 6 months). It coes have serious potential side effects inluding masculinization of a female fetus and fetal death. If you have a normal pregnancy, it is not indicated at this oint
