Cyst: The most common type of bump on the eyeball is a cyst. Cysts may be present from birth or caused by trauma, and may grow slowly over time. Depending on the size, location, level of discomfort and changes in vision, this could represent other conditions. Although this is likely nothing to be worried about, any newly -found bumps on the eye should be evaluated by an eye doctor.
