Any symptoms?: If you are not having any symptoms (snoring, sleep apnea, problems swallowing, gagging, tickle in your throat, bad breath, voice changes, recurrent sore throats, ), then you can leave it alone. Also if both tonsils are the same size, then the chances of any tumor are very, very low. However, if you have any doubt about the size of your uvula and tonsils, you should see an ENT doctor.

See physician: Enlarged tonsils can be an airway obstruction causing you to snore and enlarge the uvula. You need to see a physician about having the tonsils removed. If you snore after tonsil removal you should be checked for sleep apnea.
