Unlikely a problem: Palpation of the carotid pulse can be blunted by extra neck tissue, position, posture, etc. If you have concerns regarding blood flow, a simple carotid duplex ultrasound can demonstrate flow. No symptoms, likely no issue.

Possibly not: Who says? Is the other side different- stronger? You may have trouble feeling your own. If a clinical person reported this finding you may need doppler duplex arterial scan. Low blood pressure, aortic stenosis or carotid disease can cause a diminished pulse.
