Have palmunary embolism on april 2011.still taking 1tab daily of warfrin to maintain inr b/w 2 to 3. should i use this med for the whole life or stop?

Depends: Depends upon the cause of the pulmonary embolism and whether or not you have an underlying coagulation defect.. If this was a provoked event, generally you are due for time limited treatment. If this was an unprovoked event and you have a significant underlying disorder you may need meds for life.

Depends: If it is the first episode of pe/dvt tx is 6 to 12 months. You should probably have a hyper- coaguability work up.
