Usual : Treatment time is 6 months...Follow up scanning generally not performed.

Not useful: It is not useful to repeat testing, for most patients. Your body will remove the clot. The medication is used to make sure you do not get a new clot. Most important is to be followed by a lung doc who has expertise in lung clots.
