See Dermatologist: See a skin care specialist. Some dermatologists and some plastic surgeons are good in treating these. But, some scars could be permanent.

Avoid sun/mederma: Acne scars are scars of varying depth and disfigurement depending on the type of acne. Cystic acne is the worst for scarring. The scars are actually different tissue and have less elasticity and oils than normal skin. The skin requires a skin care regimen. Also, it is very important to use sunscreen. Mederma makes a good cover for scar with sunscreen in it.
