Acne scars: Old acne scars which have been inflamed will eventually return to normal skin tone providing they don't get aggravated by picking or irritating facial products (they will generally turn red, then brown prior to fading to normal color and this can take weeks). Minimize new pimples from developing by using hypoallergenic washes and moisturizers, benzoyl peroxide, and staying well hydrated.
