Very young: First off you are very young for joint replacement surgery at age 32. Your doctor was worried because a tooth abscess soon after joint replacement creates a source of bacterial contamination of your joint replacement. Your knee still has a higher amount of blood going to the joint being this soon out from surgery. You need to have the cavity treated to avoid a septic total joint asap.
