I have short, sharp shooting pains in my chest, beneath my right breast. it feels as though the pain travels to my neck also. any idea what this is?

Hard to say for sure: Never ever assume a lingering pain in your chest is nothing concerning. While this could be nothing more than musculoskeletal pain, it could represent something serious like a cardiac or pulmonary problem. It's best to have an examination by your doctor.
