A member asked:

My 5 year old daughter has noticeable body odor, it has been like this for the last 18 months.should i be concerned?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: As long as it's not a hygiene or diet issue, children of this age should not really have a body odor. There are certain odors that are indicative of an underlying problem: diabetes, precocious puberty or some metabolic problem to name a few.
