I have been taking 25 mg amitriptyline for insomnia. i am ready to wean myself off of it. could you please tell me the best way to wean off if 25 mg?

Slowly: If you really want to stop than taper to 20 mg for few weeks than if no problem with sleep than 10 mg for 2 weeks than take as needed if not able to sleep

Sounds reasonable, but please do inform your prescribing doctor first.
