Follow-up: Fortunately you ar still a young adult and are naturally concerned. Does your dad HAV glaucoma, or other fam members? I strongly rec that you continue with eye md exams to verify that your optic nerves are still functioning normally. A specialist in glaucoma is an excellent resource. They have years of experience to know when/if to treat your eyes. Oftenspecific diagnostic testing is performed.

No- you: Have thin corneas, which increases your risk of glaucoma. Have it checked out every few years- at your age glaucoma very rare.

Hard to answer: Are you talking about the shape and color of the optic disc centrally in the back of the eye? The nerve itself is behind the eye and cannot be observed directly, so how do you know it is "thin"? Or are you talking about the blood supply at the nerve head in which case thinness could be a problem? Astigmatism and far sightedness would not have an effect on this. Send more information please.
