I have had 3 right shoulder surgerys due to rugby. i have now not played for 18months but have been training. is it wise to play competitively again?

Depends: I guess the question you need to ask yourself is whether it is worth dealing with the repercussions of another injury and the problems long term you will deal with as a result of returning to play. Unfortunately, your shoulder is damaged goods and you probably have a high likelihood of chronic problems years from now as a result of your prior injuries. If you love the game play but its risky.
