Several: The condition is sometimes known as ileotibial band syndrome and is a common cause of hip pain. Another common germ for it is tensor facia lat a syndrome. If you google these terms there are several sites that show a good stretching program. It is felt to be a contracture and inflammation of theileotibial band and stretches can definitely help.
