Pain after eating: Gallstones can cause pain after eating that can progress to bloating, belching, fever and worsening pain. Gallbladder infection, obstruction of pancreas and/or liver can be life-threatening. Surgeons and docs recommend gallbladder removal when the stones are diagnosed (by ultrasound of abdomen) and the patient is symptomatic. Other possibilities exist in your case. Okay to see your doc.
