See your doctor: There is usually a white exudate on the tongue, gums, palate of the mouth which is difficult to remove. However, for verification see your child's pediatrician.

Thrush: Bleeds easily as you are scraping off the white plaques from the tongue, gum, inner cheeks etc. With milk coating the oral cavity, no matter how hard you scrape , it won't bleed.

Thrush: Thrush is a yeast infection in the mouth and throat. It is presented by white areas - tiny spots to bigger patches especially on the cheeks, roof of mouth and tongue. Oftentimes, it is associated with a diaper rash.
