Tendonitis: The tibialis posterior tendon is a large tendon that runs the course from the inside of the ankle into the bump of bone in the mid arch. Overuse of this tendon can cause pain and inflammation. Underlying flat foot structure is a big predisposing factor as is overtraining and poor shoegear. Additional arch supports, new shoes and nsaids are helpful. Dont wait on this, if not resolving see dr soon.
