Possibly: The width of the madible can widen under some circumstances. Working out does not generally affect this. However bodybuilders who take Anabolic steroids often see a widening of the face, including the jaw, nose, and chin, as a negative side effect of the steroids. If you are looking for a cosmetic change in this area, the treatment of choice are mandibular implants.

Surgery: This would likely require surgery, which would be serious and have other repercussions (like altering your bite) that would require other interventions. I would recommend you don't go there unless it is medically necessary.

Careful: While we can expand paletes you do not want to flare your teeth to get the desired effect. Consult a board certified orthodontist for a free consultation.

Unsure : Not sure what you mean. Front & profile are 2 different views. The only way to widen the appearance of your mandible is with surgery. But i'm sure that I am misinterpreting your question.

Probably not : It is common to widen the maxilla in both children and adults. However, widening of the mandible in adults would not be easily achieved and perhaps put the health of your temporo-mandibular joints at risk. Perhaps a plastic surgeon could help you.

Yes: What you are requesting is "arch expansion." it sounds like your exrcising has caused increased jaw clenching, which leads to a "deep bite." can be fixed with orthodontic treatment.

Probably not: To change the appearance of your lower jaw may require bone surgery, plastic surgery, or orthodontic /orthopedic treatment. See an Oral Surgeon for advice.
