Pregnancy test: A pregnancy test at the time your period is due will answer that question. Implantation typically occurs about 8 to 10 days after conception, which should be about 4 to 6 days before the period is due. Implantation bleeding will usually happen within about 14 days of implantation. So, by the time your period is due, a pregnancy test will be positive if you have conceived.
