Pregnancy test: A pregnancy test at the time your period is due will answer that question. Implantation typically occurs about 8 to 10 days after conception, which should be about 4 to 6 days before the period is due. Implantation bleeding will usually happen within about 14 days of implantation. So, by the time your period is due, a pregnancy test will be positive if you have conceived.

It's almost never: Implantation bleeding, that is largely an internet myth. If - a big if - you actually get implantation bleed it woudl be about 6-7 days after ovulation, or about a week before your expected period.

Timing and HCG: Implantation bleeding is typically seen about one week post-ovulation. Bleeding that is closer to two weeks after ovulation is more likely to be a period. Serum HCG testing would confirm that if you need to know: not considered clinically relevant at that point.
