Hard stool: Your baby is probably constipated from too much milk. When she passes the hard stools she is tearing the rectal lining. Try using prune juice to, help soften her stools.

Most frequent: reason is milk protein allergy, but 5 months is a little late. Other causes could be an anal fissure, Meckel's diverticulum, or venous malformation.
