Not Necessary: Get a half of pediatric glycerin suppository and insert it into her rectum (butt). This will coat the stool and help it to slide out. The blood if it is bright red, is from the straining. In the future add 1/2 jar of baby prunes to her diet and avoid rice cereal and bananas for the time being. Good Luck!
