Fasting <100: The ada (american diabetic association) defines normal fasting sugar as less that 100 and has defined prediabetes as 100 to 115. At 114, it would be best to see a physician to measure a hemoglobin a1c and 2 hour post prandial (after meals) blood sugar to define if one is early diabetic or not. These results would determine what if any action one might need to take.
