Been taking pantoprazole for over a week and no effect on heartburn. is it possible that omeprazole would work? or is it just the same medication?

Sometimes: We are all wired slightly differently. One med may work better for you than another. If 10+ days on pantoprazole, then trial of Omeprazole worth doing. If it fails, then need to see your dr to see what is actual cause of pain.
