Depends : It typically depnds on 3 main areas. If you have a medicated (drug eluting) stent, it is a minimum of 12 months. If you had a heart attack, your cardiologist may extend therapy through a year or more. If you have other blood vessel narrowing, stroke history or other ancillary condition, these are other reason to continue. You would benefit from a discussion with your cardiologist. Good luck.

Usually a year.: It depends on the stent type and other conditions. Typically it is used in combination with Aspirin for a year after stunting. Do not stop it without consulting your cardiologist.
