Graves eye disease: The eye disease of graves disease runs a different course from the thyroid disease. Some of the "bulging" may be from lid retraction, which is less serious, or it could be more serious eye disease, which could require surgery or steroid treatment. You need to see an endocrinologist first for a complete evaluation and get treatment of the thyroid, and then possible referral to another doctor.
