Arthocentesis: "draining" a knee joint is known known as an arthrocentesis or joint aspiration. The cost is typically around $75-100, but i would recommend calling the office of a local orthopaedic surgeon first to check. An initial evaluation will need to be performed first to determine if draining the knee is necessary first- this will be a separate charge.
