Try this: Apply ice pack for the first 2 days of injury then warm packs or heat thereafter. You may take over the counter tylenol (acetaminophen) or advil or aleve(granting you have no allergies to these). Neck exercises may help (google or youtube it) if you don't feel better or you get worse, go see your dr.
