Possibly now: I assume you were diagnosed with the mthfr mutation. If so, Folic Acid and b-complex can help drive the chemical reaction. It can be an issue if your fasting homocysteine levels are high. If normal, typically not an issue. Prenatal vitamins have .4 mg in them--so even if you're not supplementing, you're getting some. All that said, most important time is first trimester.
