Foods that cause...: ...Constipation include dairy and low fiber foods (white rice, white pasta, meats, etc.). Foods that help decrease constipation include water and anything high fiber (fruits, vegetables, whole grains). A little prune or pear juice can work wonders in helping relieve constipation.

Options: In early infancy, bananas, applesauce & cereals are prime constipating agents.Lowering amount of intake can help reduce the effect. The fruit juices like apple, peach, prune,pear will loosen stools. Any change takes 3-4 days to show benefit.
