Chondromalacia : Sometimes we graft chondral defects, such as in cases where they are painful. Realignment osteotomies, in combination with a cartilage resurfacing may also be necessary. I would highly recommend a visit to an orthopedic surgeon who performs cartilage restoration to provide you with an opinion as to your options.
