Not a good idea: There may be drug interaction and anesthesia complication, it should not be taken when going through anesthesia.

Talk to anesthesia: Many drugs have interactions with other medications. If you let your anesthesia physician know what medications you take the anesthetic plan can be tailored to meet your needs. There is no absolute need to stop this medication before surgery.
