Not known for sure: Stimulants in general diminish appetite for most indviduals-though not all. There is a mechanism in the brain that tells us when we're hungry, and it may affect that part of the brain. Not a universal effect, and typically the effect on appetite lessens with time, which is why it is not a good diet pill.
