Not really: During the pre-teen & teen years the various pediatric and sports medicine groups advise against power lifting until bone maturity. This is primarily to prevent growth plate injuries. Injecting illicit steroids before boney maturity may accelerate growth plate closure and limit height. However, body building itself does not change the growth rate or final height.
