Is it okay if i hear soft heart murmer in a newborn?

Not uncommon: It is common to hear a simple murmur in a newborn that represents a bypass circuit, the pda, that is open during pregnancy & usually closes within a day or two. The doc can identify it by sound & location. Failure to close over time may require intervention. There are less common murmurs that represent other issues.An echo of the heart & major blood vessels can define the cause.
