Core strengthening: Congratulations on the weight loss- that is certainly a step in the right direction. Any issues in the spine cause decreased function of the core stabilizers. Surgery further decreases the function of these muscles. A good physical therapist can teach you how to functionally strengthen your transverse abdominus- and look at your muscle imbalances to give you an individualized program.

Recurrent back pain : When your pain returns on a pt who had back surgery you need a complex work up x-rays physical exam because scar is the answer after no real path can be found.
