Acid reflux?: Sounds like a variety of heartburn. You can try Prevacid (lansoprazole) over the counter for a week or two. If worse or not resolved would go ahead and see doctor. Sometimes alcohol, anti-inflammatory medicines, spicy/acidic food, or stress can cause, sometimes other causes, so get checked if it doesn't go away.

See MD: Swallowing problems with belching and possible heart burn or throat soreness, may be a result of gastric reflex or hiatal hernia issues. Can be very damaging to esophagus. Maybe treated with simple meds. See your physcian to determine cause or referral to specialist. Better to know than worry about what can happen.
