Bowel gas: For some reason the kid appears to go through periods of retaining more tummy inflating bowel gas. That usually means germs that produce the gas in her gut have more to feed on, which is what happens if you eat a lot of beans or if you can't digest the sugar in dairy. The process is harmless, but you may want to find out if she has food intolerances.
