Yes: Let's address why you have pnd(post nasal drip) usually a sign of allergyi'm sure you have done the regular things like finding the offending allergen:dust, cats, dogs, and whatever you can find that makes you worse.Avoid these. Drugs that are effective include all the antihistamines-benedryl, allegra, claritin, and an old favorite of mine-clemestadine.

Definitely!!!: These are mucus draining the back of your throat, triggering you to clear your throat and initiate a cough to try to get rid of the mucus behind.At times to the point of choking and gagging your head off- your eyes about to pop!take care of the main problem which is allergic rhinitis with any allergy meds- claritin, zyrtec , Allegra etc brand or generic and a topical nasal spray.See md if no better.
